This policy explains what information Insure3212 LLC ("we") collects through insure3212.com and how we use it.
What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect what you enter in the quote form. Depending on the coverage you ask about, that can include:
- your name, phone number, email address, mailing address and how you prefer to be contacted;
- dates of birth and driver's license numbers for you and the drivers you list;
- vehicle details (such as year, make, model and VIN) and property details (such as the address, age, construction and condition of a home or rental);
- business information, such as the business name, entity type, FEIN if you choose to give it, revenue, employees and payroll;
- your insurance and claims history, and any documents you upload, such as declarations pages or loss runs;
- your authorization for us and the insurance companies we work with to obtain consumer reports used in insurance, such as motor vehicle records, claims history (for example CLUE) and, where state law permits, insurance scores.
We also record the time of the request and the page it was sent from. If you call or email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to share.
Why we collect it
We use it to quote and place the insurance you ask about: to compare options from insurance companies, to answer your questions, and, if you decide to go ahead, to apply for and service your coverage. We do not use it for anything else without asking you first.
Who receives it
- Insure3212 staff, who handle your request.
- Insurance companies, to quote and, if you choose, to bind and issue coverage. We share the details they need for the coverage you asked about.
- Our email delivery provider, which transmits your request from the website to our inbox and sends you a confirmation.
We do not sell your personal information.
How it is sent and stored
Your answers and files are sent over encrypted connections. The website does not keep a copy after delivering your request to us.
If you give your contact details and move past the "About you" step but do not finish, the website keeps your name, phone number, email, ZIP, the coverage you chose and how far you got for a short time. If you have not finished within about 45 minutes, these details are sent to us once so we can offer help with your request, and the website deletes them. They are deleted within 6 hours in any case, and at once if you finish. None of your other answers are kept this way.
While you fill in the form, your browser keeps your answers in that tab so a refresh does not lose them; dates of birth, license numbers and the FEIN are never kept this way, and the saved answers are cleared when you submit or close the tab.
How long we keep it
We keep the information in our agency records for as long as Michigan law requires insurance agencies to keep them, and otherwise only as long as we need it to serve you.
Cookies and third-party content
This site does not set any cookies of its own and does not use advertising trackers. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites. Some pages load content from Google — the office map (Google Maps) and the site's fonts (Google Fonts). Google may set cookies or collect technical information, such as your IP address, under Google's privacy policy.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
If you use the "Book a call" link, scheduling is handled on a separate site under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Some records we must keep by law; we will tell you if that applies. Contact us using the details below.
Children
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
